My journey in education began when I was very young. At the age of six, I would play teacher with my younger sibling and two cousins. Each of us would take turns writing questions on a whiteboard and asking the others to answer them. At thirteen years old I started babysitting for friends, family members, and other members of the community. My passion for teaching had continued and it showed in my work as a child giver. I would create schedules packed with activities, games, and lessons I had planned for the kids. Eventually, I graduated high school and went off to college where I spent the past seven years studying education and working towards my teaching degree. I did not want to stop working with kids, so I continued to work at a local daycare in my hometown over the summers. Finally, I am reaching the point in my journey where I will earn my degree and begin working my dream job as an educator. However, my journey will not stop here. This year I will continue to follow the path in education as I work to earn my master's degree in the years 2023-2024.
